designer Chloe Dao

Press Release Body = Highland, MI - - February, 2007 - - The American Sewing Expo is
pleased to announce that Chloe Dao, Bravo's Project Runway, Season 2 winner, will be
the featured celebrity judge at Passion For Fashion!, a sewing and design contest
inspired by the hit television show.

Passion For Fashion! will provide the opportunity for all sewing enthusiasts to
showcase their sewing and design talents in a Project Runway inspired challenge.
Each participant will be given a design challenge scenario and have all day Friday,
September 28, to create their "secret project". Expo attendees will have the
opportunity to follow the progress of the designers as they work on their creations.
Contestants return on Saturday, September 29 for a last minute fitting on their
professional model before the fashion show and photo shoot in the afternoon. Chloe
Dao will head a panel of industry fashion experts to choose the challenge winner
based on creativity, construction, fit, and composition. Deadline to enter is June
30. Entry forms must be accompanied with a $20.00 non-refundable jury fee and 1
fashion garment (no more than a 3-piece outfit) that has been created within the
past two years. Passion For Fashion! is one of several opportunities to participate

While a contestant on Project Runway, Chloe Dao was popular with both the judges and
viewers with her creative talent, business savvy, technical skills and warm
personality. Chloe is truly an inspiration to young sewers and designers. Expo
attendees will also have the chance to meet Chloe on Friday, September 28 and ask
her questions by registering for "Coffee With Chloe."

Class registration and schedule details will be available beginning, July 1, at

independently owned sewing expo in the country and is open to the public from
September 28 - 30 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, Michigan. Expo hours are
Friday, 9:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, and Sunday, 9:00 am - 5:00
pm. General admission is $12 with additional fees for classes and special events.
